TIOBE releases TiCS 2023.3, introducing better ways to detect newly introduced and solved violations.
Previously, it was not entirely possible to prevent new violations from entering your code. This was the case because adding and solving a violation could cancel each other out. With this new feature, a diffing algorithm identifies whether a violation is really new. This enables you to apply true quality gating and stop the rot right now! On top of this, “Solved” violations can also be identified so you can keep track of the improvements you have made.
